William Earl Alexander, 68, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.

The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, from 11 until 12 p.m. in the parlor at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be graveside Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Guthrie Cemetery with Tommy Neely officiating and Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing.

Alexander was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Shirley J. Alexander; parents, Albert and Mable Alexander; and brother, Everett Alexander.

He is survived by his children, Sandra Reno, Cathy Nordmann (Marc), and Bruce Alexander (Bethany); grandchildren, Jason (Linnie), Heather, Michael, Alicia (Junior), Tiffany; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Janice Walker (David).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
