Viola M. Ellis, 72, died May 22, 1990, at St Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Oct. 18, 1917, at Alexander, the daughter of William and Pearl Allen Boese. A lifetime resident of the Rozel area, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Rozel.
On Feb. 6, 1936, she married Raymond Ellis at La Crosse. He survives.
Other survivors include; a son, Danny Ray Ellis, Burdett; a daughter, Carol Jean Patterson, Rozel; two brothers, Wilbert Boese, Susank, and Robert Boese, Hays; a sister, Fern Nairn, Great Bend; five grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with the Rev. Charles Gardner presiding. Friends may call until service time Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery, Larned.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association in care of the mortuary.
