Son of Louis J Persoglio Sr d.10/1960 and Anna Kafader Persoleo d.Apr 1983, siblings, Louise Lane d.ca 1938, Joseph d. Aug 1922, Francis d. Sep 1974, Charles d. Mar 1982, Louis J Jr d Jan 2006 Irene (twin of Joseph) d Dec 2011 and James d 2017 . He is also survived by his spouse Elaine (Crooks) of 30 years. Survived by Children William Jr (Donna), Anna (Charles), Doris (David) . He is also survived by 3 grandchildren Paula, William and Nicole
He was retired from Chrysler Corp Final Repair shop and had previously worked for GM and the De Army National Guard where he obtained the rank of Sgt and earned many sharp shooter / marksman medals. He also played on the DE Army National Guard Football Team. He was an avid animal lover, he owned and trained race horses with Carmen DiMaio at Delaware Park/kept at North Star Barn also an ambulance driver at DE Park at one time. He also raised and raced Homing Pigeons for several years.
He had been ill for 4 years prior to his death.
