Mrs Nellie Anderson, 95, of the Sunset Home, died at 4pm Sunday (Sept 30, 1990) in the home. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mrs Nellie Anderson, 95, formerly of 1247 Maine, died at 4pm Sunday (Sept 30, 1990) in Sunset Home where she was a resident.
Born Oct 16, 1894, in Richfield Township, Mrs Anderson was a daughter of Francis and Josephine Mauderly Gray. She attended Grace United Methodist Church where she was past president of United Methodist Women and a member of the Mary Martha and Sewing circles. She was a longtime member of the Parent Teachers Association, and a member of Grace Whipple Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and the Salvation Army Auxiliary. She had taught at Wagy School in Plainville.
On Feb 7, 1918, she married James F Anderson in Quincy. He died Sept 6, 1968. She also was preceded in death by a son, two sisters, a brother and a great-grandson.
Survivors include two sons, Carl of Urbana, Ohio, and Milton of Harrisburg, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs Robert (Marguerite) Hollander of Columbus, Ind, Mrs Leon (Eileen) Dial of Black Canyon, Ariz., Mrs Margie Halterman of Escondido. Calif, and Norma Jean Anderson of San Diego; a brother, Glenn Gray of Plainville; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaugter.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30am Thursday in Shiloh Cemetery near Plainville by the Rev David Kueker.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm Wednesday in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or to Grace United Methodist Church.
