She retired from Konhaus Markets and had worked at Bill's Town Market, Mechanicsburg; was a graduate of the former Carlisle High School; a member of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church, Silver Spring Twp., its Altar Guild and Band of Hope Sunday School Class, and Mechanicsburg Chapter 1816, National Association of Retired Federal Employees; a Meals on Wheels volunteer; and enjoyed gardening and needlework.
She was the widow of W.L. "Barney" Gochenauer. Surviving are three sons, David L. of Dillsburg, Clair of Carlisle and Daryl L. of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Nancy G. Hornberger of Mechanicsburg; a brother, Martin L. Slusser of Dillsburg; a sister, Cora E. Kime of Aspers; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in her church. Burial will be in Trindle Spring Cemetery, Silver Spring Twp. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church.
Memorial donations may be made to her church, 14 State Road, Mechanicsburg 17055, or Meals on Wheels, 63 Winchester Gardens, Carlisle 17013.
