Son of Oliver Marshall & (1) Emma Langley Blount.
William Gray Blount (my uncle) was living in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and working for the T & P Railroad, when he met Lucinda Pevehouse Hood, whom he later married. He worked here for several years until he was seriously injured when he fell from a train car while switching. After that he returned to farming and ranching in Young County, while also working for an oil company as a leasing agent.
-------
William Gray Blount, 73, came to Graham from Fort Worth in 1918. Services were held at Morrison Funeral chapel officiated by Rev. Cearley of Archer City. Survivors include one sister - Mrs. Georgie Crawford; three brothers - John Blount, Clarence Blount, Dewey Blount.
