Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Woollard Ball, 84, who died Thursday afternoon at Greenwood Leflore Hospital after a brief illness, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home Chapel.

The widow of Samuel Leflore Ball, she was born in Memphis, Tenn., and had lived in Teoc and Greenwood. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Golden Age Nursing Home where she was a member of the Golden Age Auxiliary. A member of First Presbyterian Church, she was a charter member of Under the Hill Home Extension Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Kenneth of Greenwood and Mrs. Laura Louise Ward of Peoria, Ill.; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Mrs. Kennie York of Greenwood.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home. : Pallbearers will be James Long, Roy Meeks, Arnie Watson, Harry Marlow, Granville Jordan, Vance Lawson, Critz Harlan and Jimmy Kerr.

Rev. William T. Bryant and Rev. Jim Stanford will officiate at services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.
