Cecilia K. Baumhoer, 96, formerly of Clayton, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Manor Care in Florissant.

She was born on May 21, 1907 in Folk, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Werschai Baumhoer.

Miss Baumhoer was a self-employed seamstress in St. Louis for more than sixty years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Clayton.

Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth Verhoff, Argyle; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six sisters, Mamie Stegeman, Katie Fechtel, Agnes Bexten, Berna Klein, Anna Baumhoer, and Clara Baumhoer; and five brothers, Ben, Anton, George, Frank, and Alyois Baumhoer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14th, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Folk with the Rev. Thomas E. McGrath officiating.

Burial will be in St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery, Folk.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
