Died.

Mrs. Adelphia Eleanor wife if O. G. Boor of Le Roy, died Friday May 8th, 1908 at 2:30 o'clock a.m. aged 54 years 10 months and 2 days.

The deceased was born in Marion Co., West Virginia July 6, 1853 and at the age of sixteen was converted and united with the Baptist church.

She was united in marriage August 15th, 1871 to O. B. Boor at Farmington, West Virginia. After her marriage she with her husband united with the Methodist Episcopal church and has lived a consecrated christian ever since. To this union was born five sons, all of which are living and were present at present at her funeral namely, William Franklin, Harry Ogden, Charles Golden, and Newton Rex of Iowa, and Ducian Hall of West Virginia.

In March 1883 she with her family removed to Clarke Co., Iowa of which she has been a resident ever since with the exception of six years which was spent in Le Roy, Decatur Co. On May 26th, 1907 she met with a serious accident, falling and fracturing her limb, from which she never recovered.

To know Mrs. Boor was to lover her. She was a kind and sympathetic friend, a loving wife and a devoted mother. Besides her husband and bereaved family, she leaves a host of friends to mourn her loss. But in the language of Paul, she has not left us in ignorance that we should sorrow as those that have no hope but that we can look forward with bright hopes, that when the trials of life are o'er we shall all meet again in that beautiful home where sorrow and death enter not.
