Mrs. Arnold was a life long resident of Hawkins County and was a member of McPheeters Bend Baptist Church. She was a member and past matron of Fairview Chapter # 80, Order of Eastern Star and had served as secretary for many years and had served as Grand Representative to the State of Maine, OES. She was a life member of the ladies auxiliary of Church Hill VFW Post 9754.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Arnold, Jr., grandson, John Stephen Arnold, her parents, Robert L. "Bob" and Kate Snapp Woods, brothers, Aldridge Woods and Charles Woods.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Nancy Arnold, Richard Arnold and fiancé, Ginger Hawk, all of Church Hill; Philip and Amy Arnold, Tazewell, TN; five grandchildren, Jessica Arnold, Mandi Arnold, Brandi Mittelsteadt, Ryan Arnold and Zach Arnold; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert "Grady" and Fawn Woods, Kingsport; J. S. and Norma Jean Woods, Rogersville; Donald and Sara Woods, Church Hill; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home and anytime at the residence.
Service will be conducted Tuesday at 7:00 P. M. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jason McIntosh and the Rev. William Boyd Bingham officiating. An Eastern Star Memorial Service conducted by Fairview Chapter # 80 Order of Eastern Star will follow the funeral service.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons, neohews and friends.
