Mrs. John Autner of Curllsville, aged 72 years, died at her home last Monday evening from the infirmities of old age. She was born in Bellefonte, Pa., and came to Clarion 50 years ago. She was one of the best known and most respected residents of that section and the announcement of her death will be sad news to a large number of friends and acquaintances. Mrs. Autner leaves 3 children: William at home; Mrs. W.B. Reynolds, and Mrs. John T. Snyder, both of Vandergrift, Pa., besides the following grandchildren, all of Franklin; Mrs. F.H. Chapman and John, Fred, Calvin, Carl, Chester and Miss Evelyn Autner. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon, the pastor of the baptist church to which the deceased belonged, conducting the services. Source: Clarion Democrat, June 7, 1906.
