Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday, at Walker's Globe Mortuary
for Mrs. Rosa Solorio Benavides, age 69, who died last Wednesday
at Gila General Hospital. Funeral Mass was at 10 a.m. Saturday at
Holy Angels Catholic Church with burial in Globe Cemetery.
Mrs. Benavides was born in La Pliedad, Michoacan, Mexico and
lived in the Globe area since 1921, moving here from New Mexico.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Rodriguez of Globe,
one son, Jesus of Saugus, Massachusetts. Walker's Globe Mortuary
