Martha Alldredge joined her parents, Van and Mildred Tettleton, and sister, Beverly Tettleton Cooper, in the Lord's house on May 15, 2013. She died in San Antonio. She was born on April 7, 1940, in San Antonio. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Max Alldredge; Beverly's family, Lori Cooper and Cara Farnsworth, children Riley Farnsworth and Keller Farnsworth. Brother, Gary Tettleton and friend Claudia Krueger, daughter, Tara Hoover and John, children, Lauren Hoover and John Warner Hoover, son, Van Tettleton and Margaret Ann and daughter Margaret Louise "Weezie" Tettleton. Sister, Nancy Tettleton Granzin and Wilburn, children, Venessa Cole, Valerie Melson and Mack, children Mollie Melson and Mack Daniel Melson, Jr., Charles E. Cole III, child, Brooken Carrol Cole. Brother, Bruce Tettleton and Penny, son Chase Tettleton, daughter Allison Salido and Pancho, child, Victoria Salido. Her inlaws are Jane Montgomery and Joe, children, Donna Nesbitt, Don Nesbitt and Rita, child, Jennifer Nesbitt, Nicky Nesbitt and Renee and child Natalie Nesbitt and her child, Jaxon Nesbitt. They all loved Martha and mourned her unexpected passing which was related to cancer. After graduating from Brackenridge High School, 1958, she attended SAC, and married on Jan. 26, 1961. She was an executive assistant in Dallas and moved to Palestine, TX. where she helped establish her husband's insurance business, Alldredge Insurance Agency. After a few years, she retired and enjoyed life organizing and working in their home and yard; was active in the community and was very involved in the Howard House Museum. She was a loving person and will be missed by all who knew her. She will be buried in Roselawn Park Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine.
