DRUMMONDS - Vernie Suggs Delancey, 79, homemaker, died of cancer Sunday at her home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Munford Funeral Home with burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Delancey, the wife of James B. Delancey, also leaves six daughters, Evelyn Marie Ellsworth, Brenda Sue Gillihan and Judy Carol Landis, all of Drummonds, Dorothy Jean Osborne of Tunica, Joyce Ann Hutchison of Bolivar and Helen Louise McDermott of Pooler, Ga.; three sons, Robert Edward Delancey of Senatobia, Miss., Larry Bee Delancey of Covington and Billy Wayne Delancey of Princeton, Texas, 28 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
