Kirby Lee Ammerman, 59 of Rushville died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007.
Born April 23, 1948 in Connersville, he was the son of Oren and Betty (Sparks) Ammerman, both deceased. He married Vicki Bills Aug. 10, 1968; she survives.
Mr. Ammerman spent most of his life in Rushville. He was a truck driver for Fraley-Schilling in Rushville for nearly 20 years. He attended Rushville Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, Kirby L. Ammerman Jr. of Fayette County; one daughter, Lana Lynn (Mrs. Keith) Shauver of Rushville; two brothers, James W. of Nevada and Denver Dale of Salt Lake City, Utah; four grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister and one daughter, Brenda Lee Ammerman.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rushville Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Todd Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Rush County's East Brook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moster Mortuary, Rushville.
