Harrelson School student Kai Christopher Bartlett, 11, of Puryear died Thursday, April 23, 2015, at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
He had been a leukemia patient at St. Jude.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Hazel Baptist Church, where he attended.
Wayne Carter of Hazel Baptist and Bruce Callahan of Bird’s Creek Baptist Church will officiate.
The body was cremated. Arrangements were handled by Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in Memphis.
He was born May 17, 2003, in Florida. He was the son of Chad Bartlett and Alisha Umstead. He was the grandson of Catherine and Rodger Umstead.
He also is survived by two brothers: Demitris and Zachary Lucas.
