MRS. THOMAS WESTERMAN
Mrs. Virginia E. Westerman, 78, died suddenly on Sunday at her home, 109 Carley Drive, West Sayville. She was born in Brooklyn, had lived there most of her life, moving to West Sayville 12 years ago. Her husband, Thomas Westerman, died in 1942, and she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Walsh of East Rockaway, Mrs. Jean Sweeney of Westbury, Mrs. Alice Sullivan of New York, and Mrs. Peggy Walsh of West Sayville, a sister, Mrs. Alice Cullen of Sayville, 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Rosary services were held at Raynor's Chapel on Tuesday evening and a requiem mass at St. Lawrence's Church yesterday morning, followed by interment in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, L.I.
