My father was true army though and though we were all proud of him. Two of his sons and oldest granson followed in his footsteps and served proudly. He served his family and country with pride.
We miss you.

***** From your oldest grandson you never meet. It was your sacrifice that gave me the desire to serve my country for 20 years in the U.S. Marines. I have the utmost respect for you and all of your fellow Vietnam veterans. I wish I could have met you and hope one day we will meet at the pearly gates.
Your grandson,
First Sergeant Raymond Stephens

***** To whoever, reads these lines. I served, with Sergeant Ard, in Vietnam. Often, very often, do I think about You, Sergeant Ard. I have tears in my eyes, as I write, these few lines. I did get wounded in Vietnam, when I was an advisor with MAT54, I got MEDEVACed all the way, to NC.. I think often, back to those days while we were at MAT54. To your family, I would like to say, I'am sorry, about your loss. Bless all, of you.
Kurt Schueler.
