Sally Perkins Jeanes, age 73, of Richardson, Texas passed away November 21, 2004, in Richardson. She was born July 3, 1931, in McKinney, Texas to Thomas W. and Clara Mae (James) Perkins, Jr. On June 20, 1953, she married John Jeanes in McKinney. She earned an Associates Degree in nursing and worked in the Emergency Room at Richardson Hospital. She also worked as a nurse at Apple Tree Nursing Home and Convalescent Center. She was a member of the Richardson Symphony, Richardson Community Theater and Richardson Women's Club. She was a member of St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, John Jeanes of Richardson, Texas; mother, Clara Mae Perkins; sons, Tommy Jeanes and wife, Maureen of Austin, Texas, James Jeanes and wife, Helen of Dallas, Texas, and Jeffrey Jeanes and wife, Nicole of Puyallup, Washington; daughter, Julia McCord and husband, Mark of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Melanie, Corey, Benjamin, Cameron and Bailey; sisters, Clara Marie Marchant of Richardson, Texas, and Patty Melander of Bowdoinham, Maine. She was preceded in death by her father and son, Jason Jeanes. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Gibbons officiating. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
