Mrs. Bobbie Jean Adkins, 54, of Crossett, died Tuesday, January 16, 2001, at North Monroe Hospital. Mrs. Adkins was a lifelong resident of Ashley County, an employee of GP Plywood Mill and a member of Faith Center Church. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Norman and Mae Etter Foreman Adkins.

Survivors include two sons, Terrance Adkins of Los Angeles, CA, and Aubrey Cortez Canley of Crossett; one daughter, Marita Sykes of Memphis, TN; one brother, Rev. Charles Adkins of Crossett; one sister, Louise Canley of Crossett; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 20, at 1:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial with the Rev. Charles Adkins officiating. Pallbearers were Perry and Edgar Johnson, Redio and Marcileno Reed, and Ben and Willie Kyzer. Interment was in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Ho
