Maurice B. Kranzberg, a prominent member of the metro St. Louis, MO Jewish community, a proud veteran of the Battle of Iwo Jima (U.S. Marines) in World War II, well-known St. Louis area businessman and Jewish lay leader, father of three and grandfather, uncle, great-uncle and cousin, is interred here.

During his long life, he served as President of Northwestern Bottle Co. in St. Louis, and on the board of the H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy. A graduate of Washington University and Soldan High School, Mr. Kranzberg gave generously of himself to a wide array of Jewish, veterans, educational, community and philanthropic causes throughout metro St. Louis and the nation. He was also a benefactor of the Yiddish Literature Movement, as well as many other Jewish causes.
