The sweetest, dearest Grandmother - always helpful, full of advice, and very loving! She and Grandpa met in Silver Lake, Oregon when they were homesteading adjacent land. Much later, on the ranch my grandparents retired on 20 miles south of Livermore, CA she taught me to bake bread in a wood-burning stove, and experience many ranch activities including feeding the chickens, horses and raising baby calves! A wonderful pianist and story-teller - miss you, Grammy!
