Joseph Branna was my grandmothers cousin. He is the son of her Aunt Catharine Warner Branna and my grandfathers cousin Joe Branna. His parents grew up the block from each other on Virginia Avenue in Jersey City. He has a sister Kathy.

He was a Roman Catholic and attended services at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Mahwah.
Joe died at the young age of 58. He leaves behind his wife, Shirley Stevenson Branna. Thomas his son who lives in Hackensack. His two girls Jean Branna McNamara of Ridge, N.Y., and Pamela Gannon of Washingtonville, N.Y.and two grandchildren; mother Catherine Branna and sister Kathleen Enge, both of River Edge.
Mass was said Friday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, with burial in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
Viewing took place at the Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, Ramsey.
