Elizabeth was the daughter of Vanderver and Elizabeth Homan. She married Samuel Ashcraft Jr. on 9 Jan. 1822 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA. She was living with her son John in Swedesboro, Gloucester Co., NJ, in 1860. She died after being accidentally thrown from a wagon at 83 years of age; then a resident of Woolwich Twp., Gloucester Co., NJ.
