He was born in Connellsville, Pa., and had lived the last 50 years in the
Akron area. He was a member of St. Sebastian's Catholic Church, and was an
independent insurance adjuster.
Mr. Ash is survived by wife, Ethel E. Ash of Akron; daughters and sons-in- law, Patricia and John Fry of Villa Park, Ill., Judith Faye and George
Locher of Salem; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother, Eleanor
Ash of Connellsville, Pa.; brothers, Harry L. Ash Jr. of Englewood, Fla.,
Joseph Ash of Kansas City, Kansas; and sister, Eleanor Baldwin of
Connellsville, Pa.
