John W. Burnette, Age 67, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at home. John was born November 8, 1945 and grew up in Lockport, Illinois. He was a U.S. Navy Seaman who served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his father, George Burnette and his loving partner Nancy Annis. He is survived by his mother, a sister; Nancy's daughter, an honorary daughter; 3 grandsons, and a nephew. Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, where full military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy.
