Funeral services for Emelie J. Havel, 94 who died Oct. 28 in Memorial Hospital were held today, Monday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. in the St. James Catholic Church. A rosary was said Sunday night. Rev. James Kotara officiated with interment in the St. James Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Grandchildren acted as pallbearers.
Mrs. Havel was born July 27, 1895 in Gonzales county.
She was the wife of Anton Havel Sr. who preceded her in death. Her parents Betty and John Marek are also deceased.
Mrs. Havel, a housewife, resided at 1800 Cartwheel Drive.
