Mrs. Merle Cassel

WILLIAMSPORT, Ind.- Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at
the Fisher Funeral Home for Mrs. Merle M. Cassel, 81, of Judyville. She died at 1:30 p.m. Friday(March 24, 1978)
at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., where she had
been a patient for four weeks. She had been ill five years.
The Rev. Charles Anderson will officiate. Burial will be
in Rainsville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday
at the funeral Home.
Mrs. Cassel was a member of the Judyville United Methodist Church and the American War Mothers.
Born October 14, 1896 in Pine Township, Warren County, she was the daughter of George and Rose Gray Creamer. She attened
Williamsport School and Danville Teachers College.
On June 17, 1920 in Urbana,Ill. was she married to Lloyd Cassel. He survives.
Also surviving a son, Wayne (Sharon) of Fowler, a daughter, Barbara (Robert) Crane of West Lebanon; 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A son Howard, proceeded her in death.
