She was born Oct. 31, 1917 in Smith Center, Kan., to James and Ivene Bales Koroush. She married Elmer Stone on Dec. 4, 1934, in Corvallis.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Stone of Monroe and Richard Stone of Elmira; a daughter, Karen Schuitt-Ross of Elmira; 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Her husband and a son, Robert Stone, died previously.
