Brenda Lee Bond, 70 of Fairview OR, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011. She was born on August 29, 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Frank and Ari Edna (Alexander) Kelly. She married John L. Bond on March 1, 1964 in Chandler, Arizona and he preceded her in death on February 19, 2009. She moved to Eastern Oregon in 1973, to Portland in 1986 and has lived in Fairview for the last three years. She loved to read books, play Bingo and spend time with family.
She is survived by her daughters Sabrina Shelley of DuPont WA and Deidre Bond of Damascus OR; sons Robert Sparks of Athena OR, John Bond Jr. of Fairview OR, Benton Bond of Pendleton OR, Sean Bond of Sandy OR and Brandon Bond of Vancouver WA; brother Peter Ciccio of Baton Rouge LA; sister Rita Guillot of Biloxi MS; uncle Bill Alexander of Baton Rouge LA; eighteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
No formal services will be held at this time. Private interment at Willamette National Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Oregon Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
