Born in England abt 1739. Married 29 January 1765 in Marblehead, MA to Sarah Pickett, baptized Marblehead 16 September 1739, daughter of Nicholas and Sarah Edgecomb Pickett.
John, along with his brothers Absalom and Richard, were among the first responders at Lexington Commons.
John and Sarah were the parents of nine children.∼Age 81 yrs.
