For Meairl Benson
Meairl S. Benson, 26, route 1, Brainerd, died Monday at his home.
Born Aug. 4, 1923, in North Dakota, Mr. Benson had been a resident in the Brainerd area for the last eight years.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl B. Benson, four brothers, John and Carroll, California; Lyle, White Bear Lake and Bearil, Chicago; five sisters, Mrs. Christ Field, North Dakota; Mrs. Ed. Mathis, North Dakota; Mrs. W. C. Rowe, Illinois; Mrs, Erwin Pilger, Washington.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at Halvorson's funeral home.
Interment will be at Evergreen cemetery with Rev. E. J. Utzinger as the officiating minister.
