Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Francis and Dorothy (Balmes) Hopkins. A resident of the Bushkill area for the past year, he previously lived in the New York city boroughs of Brooklyn, Bronx and Queenss. He was employed as a senior computer operator in New York.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Nicole Hopkins, at home; one sister, Carol Malangone and her husband, Rudolph, of Manorville, L.I., N.Y.; and one niece, Andrea Borra of Bay Shore, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church.
