"Mrs. Josephine Frances Freeman died at her home 230 Houston Street, Atlanta, Thursday AM. Mrs Freeman had been ill with consumption for about two years. Her remains were brought to Calhoun Thursday, and Friday, were interred in Chandler Cemetery.
The services were conducted by Rev. J.C. Atkinson and a large number of friends and relatives were present.
Mrs. Freeman leaves eight children, Mrs S.H. Wolds of Darlington, SC, Misses Clara and Kate Freeman of Atlanta, besides 5 other small children.
Mrs. Freeman was 44 years old and a daughter of the Samuel Pulliam of this county.
She was loved by all who knew her and was a true Christian and devoted to her family."
