Brenda Jackson Bandy, age 52, of Fountain Run, KY passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born July 30, 1961 in Barren County, Kentucky to Mitchell Leon and the late Ella Mae (Russell) Jackson. She married Ricky Bandy August 20, 1979. She was a custodian for the Gamaliel Elementary School and was a member of the Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church with Jeremy Yokley and Tim Eaton officiating. Greg Jones, Jerry Capshew, Charles Ford, Tanner Cain, John Billingsley, Harold Brown and Terry Taylor served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Fountain Run Cemetery. Her survivors include father, Mitchell Jackson; husband, Ricky Bandy; sons, Jeremy Bandy and Carolyn McGee and Jacob Bandy; brother, Kenneth (Debbie) Jackson and 1 grandchild Haisley Bandy all of Fountain Run, Kentucky.
