Frank Allen, 67 years old, died suddenly at 7 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his son, Lowell Allen. Heart trouble was the cause of death. Mr. Allen had not been well for three months, and last Wednesday he suffered a heart attack, which confined him to bed for two days. He came to Salida from Michigan a year ago, to make his home with his son. Besides Mr. Allen, he is survived by another son, Bert Allen, of Michigan. The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon from the Stewart Undertaking Parlors.

The funeral of Frank Allen was held Wednesday afternoon from the Stewart chapel. The Rev. George E. Kitchen officiated. Mrs. Oxford and Mrs. Lamb sang "Rock of Ages" and "Jesus Lover of My Soul." The G. I. A. to B. of L. E. attended the funeral in a body. The pall bearers were: Ed Vincent, E. C. Bovee, G. W. Thompson, Clarence Selby and Walter Runyan. Mr. Allen was a member of the M. W. of A. The floral offerings were beautiful.
