Born in 1895 in Randoph Center, Wis. she grew up, attended schools and met her future husband there. She married Clinton R. Clark in 1918 in Havre where he moved after winning the townsite of Laredo. The couple helped develop the Laredo area of Hill County in the homestead days. He died in 1948. She lived in Havre for 47 years before moving to Beaverton, Ore., in 1964 to be near her children.
Survivors: daughter, Charlotte Waterman of Portland; sons, Richard of Beverton, Ore., and Frank of Billings; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandildren. A son, Stuart of Spokane, died in 1982.
