The death of Mrs. Amy Ryan Davenport who spent several years of her girlhood in this place, is deeply regretted by many. She was a most lovable woman and a tender and devoted wife and mother. Death has also claimed our one-time neighbor, Frank Grosser, whose thrift and industry was most admirable. Also James Cain of Utica, son of Thomas and Anastatia Ryan Cain, who began his education at the old stone school house. To the relatives of those departed ones Willona Creek folks extend loving sympathy.
