PORTLAND, Ind.--Former Jay County residents Fred D. Alexander, 80, and Madonna P. Alexander, 79, Mishawaka, died Monday at their home.
Mr. Alexander, who was born in Jay County, was a printer at Metal Building Review Publishing, Edwardsburg, Mich. He was a member of Forrest Lodge 239, Butler; Scottish Rite, South Bend; Grange 2109, Hamilton, and White Shrine 25, Kendallville.
Mrs. Alexander, who was born in Jay County, was a homemaker. She was a member of Eastern Star 44, Butler; Grange 2109, Hamilton, and White Shrine 25, Kendallville.
Survivors include two sons, Alan Alexander, Angola, and Thomas Alexander, Granger; three daughters, Sonya Cameron (husband: Steve), Defiance, Ohio, and Lynn Kaiser (husband: Tony) and Ann Vose (husband: Philip), both of Butler; 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Bob Davis, Portland.
Local memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
