Guillermo P. "Willie" Aguirre, 74, of Normangee passed from this life peacefully Thursday, October 18, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services are set for 1PM Sunday, October 21 in the Jesus Name United Pentecostal Church in Normangee with Rev's Johnny Gierisch III and Carolyn Munsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8PM Saturday, October 20 also in the Jesus Name United Pentecostal Church.
Willie was born February 10, 1938 in Harlingen, Texas to the late Luis and Remedios (Piseno) Aguirre. He loved ranching and horses, and liked walking. Willie was quite humorous and loved joking around with his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son Joe Luis Aguirre, and two sisters, Mary Weaver, and Lupe Botello.
Willie leaves to cherish his memories his loving ex wife, Victoria Camacho; four sons and their spouses, Roy and Susan Aguirre, Freddy Aguirre, Willie Jr. and Jimette Aguirre, and Steven and Daphne Aguirre; five daughters and their spouses Gloria and Eddie Casas, Lillie and Johnny Griggs, Isabel and Jamie Shaw, Mary and Gilbert Martinez, and Teresa and Clinton Manning; 34 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
