KENNETH D. CARPENTER
KENTON -- Kenneth D. Carpenter, 72, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Living Care Center.

He was born July 20, 1912, in Forest, the son of Ora and Hattie Loubert Carpenter. On Nov. 1, 1949, he married Vivian Ream, who survives.

Mr. Carpenter had owned Ken's Repair Shop in Kenton for the past five years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors also include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Ann) Szymanski of Toledo; four stepdaughters, Joyce Shirk, Mrs. Wayne (Arlene) Rogers, Mrs. Robert (Kathryn) Bridenstein and Mrs. Eddie (Peggy) Manns, all of Kenton, a stepson, Louis Carpenter of Kenton; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family at Dunkirk Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of God, 119 E. Lima St., Findlay.
