Mrs. Mildred Acree Chapman-Boddy, age 97, departed this life Monday, April 13, 2010, at Regency Health & Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Boddy received a bachelor degree in Elementary Education. She taught a total of twenty-eight years in the Maryland School System.
She is the devoted wife of Paul C. Boddy; mother of Oscar J. Chapman, Jr.; grandmother of Deybra, Kitty, Cindy, Oscar, Paul and Edy Chapman.
She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandson, a devoted sister-in-law, Faye Pryor; her devoted friends, Ruth Chapman and Betty Mitchell and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral 10:30 am, Friday, April 23rd at Ezion Mt. Carmel UM Church, 800 N. Walnut Street, Wilmington, 19801. Viewing 9-10:15 am only. Phi Delta Kappa Service at 10 am. Burial, Gracelawn Memorial Park.
