George was born in Wilmington, DE on December 25, 1947, son of the late George L. Biddle, Sr. and Rose (Hagar) Biddle.
Upon graduation from Middletown High School, he proudly served as a member of the U.S. Navy. Before entering the Navy, George was employed by Delmarva Power. He started his career as a cable splicer and worked his way to a management position. After retirement, George returned as a consultant for the company.
George loved watching his children play sports, as well as playing such sports as hockey, softball and golf. In addition, he was an avid swimmer. George will be dearly missed by his many friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy B. Biddle; son, Brent E. Biddle and his wife Alice; granddaughter Nora and daughter, Megan K. Biddle. He is also survived by sisters, Beth (Biddle) Money and Kay Biddle, as well as by a brother, Keith Biddle and nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held for immediate family.
