He was born March 28, 1925 in Brigham City, Utah to Raymond W. Carter and Christina Jensen Carter. He was raised in Park Valley, Utah. Married Helen Larsen June 4, 1948 in the Logan Temple.
He was a kind and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather and brother.
He served in the Air Force during World War II, and worked for 35 years at KSL Television as an Audio Engineer. He has lived in Midvale, Utah for 50years.
Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years; his children, Stephen W. Carter, Midvale; Sterling L. Carter (Sally), Salt Lake; Patricia C. Rades (Del), Gilbert, AZ; brother Darrell Carter, Park Valley, UT; seven grandchildren and nine great-grand-children.
Services will be Thursday, June 19, 11 a.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour before services. Burial, Brigham City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
