Ole was the son of Anders Danielson and Aase Olsdatter.
(Norwegian naming pattern- Ole is the son of Anders therefore Anderson), his father was Anders, son of Daniel and his mother Aase was the daughter (datter) of Ols or Ole.

Ole Anderson, of near Comet, Brown county died June 27, 1907, of paralysis. He was born in Sogen, Norway, Aug. 6, 1827. He emigrated to America in 1857 and settled in Illinois. He lived in Kansas since 1860. Three daughters and one son survive. He was reared in the Lutheran church of which he was a member until his death. He was a man of splendid character and was respected and loved by those who knew him. The funeral services were held in Comet church Sunday, June 30, at 10:30 conducted by Rev. J. A. Hunsicker. Interment was made in Powhattan cemetery.

Ole Anderson was born in Sogen Norway, Aug. 6, 1827, and died June 27, 1907 of paralysis, his age being 79 years, 10 months and 21 days. In the spring of 1857 he emigrated to America, locating in Illinois where he lived three years, then moved to Kansas locating in Greenwood county. In 1861 he was married to Christena Bronson. Their union was blessed with five children, four daughters and one son. Ellen, Mary, Sarah, Christena and Andrew. Christena preceded him in death in 1899, his wife in 1900. He came to Brown county with his family in 1863 and has lived here ever since. He was baptized in infancy and was confirmed in the Lutheran church of which he remained a member until his death. He was highly respected by all who knew him -- a man of faith, kind, helpful, generous. He suffered long by patiently and has now gone to his reward. The funeral services were held in Comet church June 30, by Rec. J. A. Hunsicker. Burial was made in Powhattan cemetery.
