DEATH
We regret to announce the death of Mrs. J.P. Ballard, which occurred in her home at this place on the morning of the 11th inst. For some time she had been a sufferer from that slow, but sure, destroyer, consumption. Mrs. Ballard was an estimable woman, universally loved and respected by the people among who she was reared. Her remains were interred at the Methodist church cemetery on the 12th inst. She leaves a husband and several children to mourn her departure. Our sympathies are with them in their bereavement.
