Oscar E. Busch, 75, resident of Johnstown for the greater part of his life, died yesterday in the Nathan Littauer Hospital at Gloversville, where he had been a patient for the past three weeks. Former operator of the Nick Stoner Inn at Wheelerville and retired since 1943, he resided at 119 ½ North Perry Street, Johnstown, until last January when his wife died. Since then he had been residing with his son, Harold, at Wheelerville. Mr. Busch was born in Cherry Valley, N. Y., March 30, 1873, son of Ephraim and Nancy (Mosher) Busch. Survivors, besides his son, Harold, are four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Thomas, Schenectady, Mrs. Frank Monahan, Dover, N. H., Mrs. Annie Gaylor, Johnstown, and Mrs. Lewis Van Deusen, Gloversville, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the Johnstown Cemetery.
