Spearville -- Ivra Clara Heiland, 94, died Wednesday, Aug 3, 2005, at Trinity Manor, Dodge City.
She was born Dec. 21, 1910, to Bernard and Monika (Riedlinger) Tieben at Windthorst. She married Fred Heiland Oct. 22, 1936 at Spearville. He preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1984.
She was a lifetime resident of the Windthorst and Spearville areas. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Church, Spearville and a long time former member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Windthorst.
Survivors include six sons, Fred, Spearville, Bernard, Dodge City, Ves, Ellis, Bill, Franktown, Colo., Jerry, Dodge City and Tony Wichita; three daughters, Monica Carmichael, Dodge City, Mary Martinez, Topeka, and Judy Konrade, Offerle; 52 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren, and nine great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Norbert; one daughter, Emogene Stevens; two brothers, Ben and George Tieben; and six sisters, Marie, Elizabeth, Maggie, Teresa, Monica, and Tracy; and two grandsons, Keith and Greg.
The vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Windthorst. The funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Windthorst with the Rev. Dennis Reed presiding. Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Windthorst.
