Father of Local Man Dies Monday
Father of L.E. Goble, owner of Piggly Wiggly store, died near Chandler, Monday afternoon, according to word received here. W.P. Goble, the local man's father, died six miles northwest of Chandler.
The elder Goble came to Oklahoma during the opening. He came from Kansas, homesteading during the run. He is survived by two sons, L.E. and Walter.
Funeral services will be held at the Oak Grove school house, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Several Stillwater people have announced their intention of attending.
