Odell Gossett
Chesnee - Ernest Odell Gossett, 62, of 261 Riding Road, died April 4, 1992 at his home. A native of Spartanburg County, he was husband of Maggie Crystal Smith Gossett, of the home, and the son of Lovine Bishop Gossett of Chesnee and the late Olin Kuhney Gossett. He was a member of Casey Creek Baptist Church. Also surviving are two daughters, Judy McFalls of Cowpens, and Teresa Roach of Welford; one son , James Ernest Gossett of Misssissippi; two grandchildren reared in the home, Tammy Gossett of Chesnee and Timothy Gossett of the home; one sister, Agnes Hames of Chesnee, four brothers, John and Howard of Chesnee. Cecil Gossett of Pacolet and Albert Gossett of Cowpens; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at Forest Lawn Mortuary in Chesnee. Services will be held at 3 PM Monday at Casey Creek Baptist Church by the Revs Gary Adkins and Greg Abercrombie. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens. He is buried at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee S.C.
